Anatomy of an Icicle II

I had never looked at an icicle up close. I was fascinated by the elaborate network of air canals and bubbles when I took this image. The dark brown background of fence was further darkened to eliminate distracting lines. 
Canon 7D II + 180/3.5, tripod
f/11, 1/20. ISO 800
Canon DPP4, PSCC, a small area cropped out for composition.

Appreciate comments and critiques.

This makes me think of the leg of a ballerina standing 'on point'. The detail of the bubbles and ice structure is fascinating! Well done.

It is interesting to see this structure-so many facets and dimensions. Makes me wonder how an icicle forms itself, and how unique each one must be. Very clever to have captured this so well with a dark background.
