Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula.

This cedar, coated by freezing rain, is on the way to dying - it will turn rusty red when dead.

It would make a great set-up perch at a bird feeder, eh.

Very cool! The ice makes this look jewel-like. Don't know about a perch-I think the birds might slide off!

Beautiful golden color! Looks like Jewelry. The main branch and leaves nicely isolated from background, and all the leaves are in focus, both of which are hard to achieve.
