Dusky-blue Groundstreak

National Butterfly Center
Mission, TX

In the U.S, this is a S. Texas specialty.  Although I don't have a true macro lens, I can't resist this thumbnail-size species, and I think this is my favorite of the many shots I've taken.

A very pleasing view-lovely detail and colors. What a pretty species! Doesn't look like you need a macro lens. :)
