Fusiliers schooling on LaLou Reef

A mixed school of fusiliers and other fish swarm around a barrel sponge on the wall at Lalou reef in Weda Bay, Halmahera Indonesia.  The corals on these reefs are in amazing condition, mainly due to their location right on the equator, they do not experience big storms and the water temperature seems to stay right around 29°C much of the year.

Beautiful array of fish, fine composition with the coral in the left corner.

great capture. Agree with corals framing the school of fish. deep blue color of water adds to the image.

Nice comp - having a bit of foreground interest really helps this one out, having a nice layer effect

All the best
