Fall asters

A group of blue asters, maybe purple wood-aster (Eurybia spectabilis), but there are lots of similar asters in my area.

Nice image with oof flowers in the background. Love these asters. Almost impressionistic.

A pleasing play of aperture with the background blooms anchoring the main star nicely, while adding eye interest in their own right

Well seen! The fellow in focus is the 'star', but it is interesting and a little amazing how much weight in this image is taken by the out of focus background flowers -- I found my eye being pulled away from the main character.
