Senator Wrasse Pictilabrus laticlavius

Usually you just see the tail of this fish disappearing into the kelp, but this guy stayed put in these small clumps of weed.  From a dive at Oak Park a couple of weeks back.

I think the fish thought it was hiding. I imagine that it could camouflage well in the middle of a big enough patch of the surrounding vegetation. Excellent capture.
