Garabaldi Hypsypops rubicundus

Garabaldi fighting over territory, they faced off for a while before one of them was chased off.  From my dives at Catalina Island off LA a couple of weeks back.

Another nice one Chris.
Getting the right amount of strobe light on these is not easy.
I was wondering if that is an egg mass on the rock behind the fish on the right.
