I got several shots of this bug, and normally shy away from the "angling away" factor, but I liked this better than the face-on, angling in, or profile shots.

Comments and suggestions always welcome.

Well it works for me - a flight shot with this degree of sharpness and composition is pretty much always impressive imo

Nice shot Craig, good pose and detail, I would maybe place it a touch higher in the frame and on my monitor at least it could be a little brighter.

I agree with your choice- this pose shows the flower through it's wing- very cool! Also nice details in the body.
