Viceroy
Limenitis archippus Livingston Co, MI Still on goldenrod; it's what's blooming. At least it's not a monarch! Although it mimics the Monarch, (and in the Southwest, the Queen,) it's more closely related to the Admirals and Sisters. Sticking with my foray away from "portraits" into something more environmental; "bugscapes"? 5DIV 100-400 4.5-5.6 II 1/2500s, f/5.6 Eval +.33 iso 1600 Natural light, hand held. Comments and suggestions always welcome. |
