1 of 3 in a series.
Yeah, Monarchs tend to be overdone, but I found a beauty, so who could resist?

Aaah, lovely. Perfect perch-love the thistle. I'm so glad to see monarchs this year-they have been missing for 2 years here.

Great short, Craig - love the placement of the butterfly in the image. Monarchs doing extremely well here in Ontario: they're all over the place. Lots of caterpillars, too.

I love the contrasting colors against a neutral background.  The Monarch is in gorgeous condition -- looks like it's just out of its chrysalis.
