Playing in the rain yesterday with a long lens for macro. This isn't the sharpest capture I got, probably, but I rather like the softness.
(Also posted in P&DA using the "Orton" effect).

Gorgeous, evocative, almost ethereal shot, Cindy!  Personally, I prefer this to your PDA version, but then again, I'm artistically challenged.

Hi

I like images that have receding DOF looks and hence this is right up my street - I guess the more traditional butterfly shooter would like the eye/head more in focus, but personally this works very well for me

Thank you Matthew...and everyone. I am new to macro, but that said, my goal is not going to be, most likely, very traditional. I appreciate everyone's perspective from all angles, so to speak. ;).
