I have heard about these amazing moths, but never have seen one until this AM. Don't have a macro lens, so I grabbed my usual. Although I didn't stop the wing motion, I'm, pretty happy with a few shots I got before it buzzed off. And mostly I'm amazed to have finally found one in my garden! It really does a great hummer imitation. It was visiting a bee balm flower.
