Dandelion Seeds Spring Forth In Our Yard

This was a complicated image to make.  The dandelion was across a small stream which prevented me from getting close enough to use a macro lens.  So, I used 5D4 with my 500 f4 and 1.4 TC along with 56 mm of extension tubes to reduce the minimal focus distance.  Shot vertically at f8 and 1/400 sec on tripod for low angle.  Fill flash to separate the seed pods from the background with flash EV -2. Minimal crop to fine tune comp.  Thanks for looking.

I think you have crafted a nice image of a common but intriguing subject - I like it

I have to say though, there must have been another dandelion that was easier to get too! lol
