Another shot with my new Nikon 105 macro lens. Local park has lots of marshy areas with lots of dragonflies. Got this guy this evening about an hour before sundown.

Hope my ID is correct.

D500, 105 mm, 1/320, f11

Thanks in advance for any comments, criticisms, help, etc.

I forgot to convert this one to sRGB. Don't know if it makes a big difference.

Excellent parallel position and subject detail - you'd get a simpler background with a longer focal length. Based on a field guide, I think your ID is correct, but I don't know dragonflies from your area.
