This is my first ever post in Flora & Macro, and the first post to NSN in a long time. I recently moved over from Canon to Nikon, got a D850 and 105 mm Nikon micro lens.
These flowers (Indian Blanket, Gaillardia pulchella) are in bloom all over the roadsides in Rockport, TX.

Great selective focus to isolate this one bloom from the crowd, Bruce. Well worth a click to fully appreciate this lovely image, and good to see your work again. Your new Nikon is in good hands.

A fine image with vivid colors. I’d love to see them in wild setting, in the northeast they are a garden ornamental.
