It is a wonderful image both in terms of composition and detail plus the colour pallet is delightful. What methodology did you use to take the shots in the field?

The biggest challenge was that the natural background was such that it detracted from the subject.  I always carry a garden kneeling pad since I spend so much time on the ground. I tried placing the pad behind the flowers and it worked.  This is a stack of 50 images.

Thank you for the reply. I have used my camera bag as background when doing my orchids too. I was more interested in how you did the stack in the field. Do you have a motorized rail and software or do you do it manually?
