Hi

Love the subject and perch combination which really works very well - perhaps both are being a little overwhelmed by the tonality of the backdrop, perhaps that a me tastes thing kicking in lol - either way a cracking shot and a lovely insect to find

All the best
Matthew

Awesome shot! Like Matthew, I’d be tempted to play with toning down the bg a bit.

Great detail. I also like the curves on the perch.

What an amazing perch. Like how the curve in the body goes with the curve in the vine. Great detail, nicely done.
I do agree with perhaps darkening the BG a tad.

Thank you all. The varied and bright background is the first thing I look for. I believe that in such a tight composition you do not steal the attention to the subject ;)

I do not like dark and anonymous backgrounds :)
