Not normally my forte so only just sharing a view I experienced last cold snap here in the UK.  D500 and Nikon 105 Micro Nikkor.  HH.  1/640 F3.2 at Iso 1000.

The dried, frozen birds look exactly like birds - but glad they aren't!
Something different, and captured very well.
