Of the numerous Ophrys species blooming in the mediterranean basin, O. speculum, commonly known as mirror orchid must be one of the most striking and unusual.
This year conditions on Sardinia were most favourable and there was an abundance of these plants, especially at coastal regions. Image made with Nikon D500 and Tamron 90mm. Thanks for stopping by. |
