Helmeted Iguana / Costa Rica

Commonly called " Iguana" this small lizard belongs to the same family as "Basilisks" is then the "fourth Basilisk" of Costa Rica (different genus)

Excellent pose and photo. This is it's portrait. Reminds me of NG photographer Joel Satore's Photo Ark series.

This is fantastic, Jeff. The dark background makes the Iguana "pop" beautifully. Excellent image.
