Hi

A very appealing composition that uses that wide angle view well imo. Overall I very much like this image

Regarding suggestions - perhaps either a reflector or a flash would have helped by throwing some extra lighting onto the stem areas of the subject giving them a little more pop

A fine enjoyable shot

Very cool! This is really different! I think I would brighten/whiten the stems too. Great texture!

Beautiful "in the habitat" close-up of these fly agaric. I really like how the forest background compliments the primary subject and helps to tell its story.

Many thanks for the kind comments.
I actually posted the wrong image.I captured the same shot with a little light from my keyring flashlight and it produced the effect as recommended by Matthew and Eia. Not sure if I should post the improved version ?
