Clear Wing Moth In flight

These guys are really hard to photograph well.  They constantly move in and out of the frame and AF depth.  We were lucky enough to shoot at the right time to get this one as it was going for a landing on a petunia on our deck.  7D2 with 100-400 II hand held.

Hi

Always amazes me that they fly with their tongues out, but I guess it's like some people who concentrate with tongues out too lol

An excellent image - and a type of shot I have never managed myself
