Fine composition and nice details, from the anthers to the background petals.

Nice composition, and beautiful fine details throughout.

On a side note, I've been "lurking" a while without posting, and in the general gallery your images always catch my eye.  Looking forward to more!

Sandy,
Wow. Fantastic details from the anthers, down to the pollen and petals. Subtle colors too.

Chris - thank you for the kind words !
Please don't be hesitant to  post imges. The comments and suggestions will help you learn, grow, and develop a good eye, especially if you ask for specific responses like: "Wasn't sure about the crop, what do you guys think?"  or " This seems a little fuzzy, what settings would have been better?"
I should also say that, in the 12 or so years I have been taking serious pictures, about 98% of my growth and improvement has come from comments and suggestions on sites like this.

Hi

Really a very appealing image - beautiful soft lighting and an image that would compliment any wall

All the best
