taken this morning after heavy rains last night.1DX, SIGMA 180 MACRO LENS, ISO 800, f20, 1/320, HH, natural light. The lower creamy elements are the anthers, while the curved elements above are the pistils. Minor overall crop. NO FLASH USED

Jim,
Nice. I've always loved the pistils. In some compositions I have they look like tentacles. Magnolias are great because they go through so many phases that all take on a different look. You nailed this one.
