Nice image - how do you blur the foreground like that?

Good question.  I'm not sure as the author needs to provide that info but this is very similar in approach to many Nordic photographers who like to shoot low and use oof foliage to provide that  blur effect.  Critical, being the time of day to get the  desired colour balance.

Maybe I'm totally off course as there are other routes but either way, a very enjoyable image that provides good emotions.  My hat off to the author.

No secret! I love sneaking with the ground level machine ... not always getting results like this. I always look at different points of view ... sometimes when I can try on different subjects.

Thanks Salvatore!

I've been admiring the images on your home page - some very nice work.

Lovely image - the flower is pretty, nice rendering of the foreground and background.

Hi

I very much like the effects and image - my ideal would be to have the subject just slightly off centre, but hey this works!

All the best
Matthew
