Very nice Craig, good pose and setting. seems a little empty RHS, did you consider a vertical crop?

Hi

A fine shot that certainly looks good given the lighting - what I mean by that is that I often feel butterflies in general seem to lose fine definition in bright light; for instance ideally I would like to see more finer details showing in the subject bodily areas. So looking at the image size / perch I know you have enough DOF and the focal placement seems right - the shutter speed is high enough and certainly there appears no movement related effects at this size upon the tongue. And I often get shots like this myself, that lack finer details, and the only real aspect I can ever out it down to is the lighting. Which is why mostly in strong lighting I resort to flash usage - personally I think it just helps out a little, or perhaps its just me

All the best
Matthew
