A Sminthurides aquaticus on my pond and sitting on the water surface as they can walk around on the water surface and eat algeas

The males are 0,5 mm and female 1 mm as adults and dont know if this is a male or female :-)

I used
Pentax q with that small sensor 6,17x4,55 mm (cropfactor 5,6 x)
and pentax canon adapter
Canon mp-e65 at 5x
Flash
Handheld uncropped

That's a lot of magnification.you are using, difficult to even frame things that small, cool to see these tiny creatures in detail.

Hi

I don't understand why you didn't measure it to identify the sex, some people ( just kidin you) lol

Seriously I am impressed you managed to focus so well with a subject on water, must have been a nightmare lol. But you sure managed well looking at this shot - cool going

All the best
Matthew
