Checkered White
Pontia protodice

Not the most glamorous butterfly in the world; I was happy to get some nice shots (although I think I front focused a bit  .)

Nice image in a difficult lighting situation - nothing wrong with a checkered white!

Hi

A nice enough little shot of this handsome butterfly - the lighting is not being kind though, and although I think you have handled the exposure well and that digital image have a much more forgiving nature to lighting nowadays personally I would have probably have opted for a bit of flash in that lighting

All the best
Matthew
