A natural bonsai tree in Torres del Paine N.P., in southern Chile. This tree was really only a few inches high yet probably quite old, maybe 10 years or more! The extreme weather at this region is the responsible for the appearance of very small trees, specially in more exposed spots where gale-force winds are very frequent.
