Varied Dusky Blue  Candalides hyacinthine

Above the surface for a change, butterfly season has started this butterfly is an uncommon regular in the yard.  The larval food plant is dodder (Cassytha sp.) which frows as a parasitic vine on plants, believe the one in our yard is a feral form.

Great pose and capture of the face and eyes. Nice perch as well.
