Splendid chromodoris  Goniobranchus splendidus

From a dive at Bare Island in Botany Bay a couple of days back, this colourful nudibranch is relatively common.  This specimen is more typically red than the very dark brown spotted one I posted a month or so back..  It is one of group of similarly coloured/patterned nudibranches that form a mimicry ring in SE Aust waters

Very nice, Chris.

What Inon strobes? The S-2000?

Thanks for sharing.

Nice strobe work, not blowing out the whites.
Perhaps moving one strobe off to the side, or turning the power down on on the left strobe would cast a bit of shadow and add a little drama.
If it is common, I would spend some time trying to get a "face" on shot with the rhinophores.
Cool shot.

Thanks for the replies, the strobes are INON Z240. The biggest problem I have with UW photos is finding a buddy who doesn't power off into the blue while you are taking shots.

Time to find a spotter or someone with a camera!
