Blue Dragon Nudibranch

Blue Dragon Pteraeolidia ianthina


From a dive today, this nudibranch is the same species as the one next to the sea star in my last post.  It captures zooxanthellae probably from its diet and farms them in its tissues like coral does and the symbiotic algae provide it with much of its food.
