Mosaic Sea Star Plectaster decanus
Another sea star form my recent dive. You can also see a blue nudibranch by the Lower RH arm of the sea star. The Nudi Pteraeolidia ianthina has symbiotic algae within it's cells that work like the algae in corals and provide food for the nudi. The algae are obtained from its prey. The sea star is one of the few toxic sea stars and will cause numbness in your hand if you handle it.
