Hi

In all honesty I am a bit middle of the road for this image - I don't mind the subject; I don't mind the light as such; but nothing is really coming together to make an appealing look imo. As a documentary type shot it does its job I guess, but ideally I would like a little more imaginative use of the image elements and lighting. Just play about with exposure alone can craft some fun looks; overall I just think you need to be a bit more ambitious and stick the camera in manual mode everything and try out different things

Just my penny worth and feel free to ignore me ramblings; most people do lol

All the best
Matthew

The light is nice and the DOF choice is appealing, and it's a great subject. A slightly closer view of just the seed head would simplify the composition.
