I've seen this flower before, but I didn't learn the name until recently. From a distance, they are a bit of grayish-pink fuzz on a stem, up close they are more interesting.

They do make a nice splash of colour in the meadows; and a nice colour splash here too!

A good up close comp with good placement of focus and alignment; nice one
