Lovely blue hues and a fine specimen. A different angle might have captured more detail at the wing edges.

Thanks Tom - it was a chance snap shot - I was busy photographing orchids when this little guy settled down next to me... no real option to change tripod position etc.

Hi

A lovely image that captures the essence of this subject well - they are surprisingly difficult to get sharply focus throughout; I have tried many time and seceded only a few, everything has to come together at one, and the angles rarely do lol
