I've been slowly scanning my collection of slides, prints and even negatives. If you are over 50 years of age, you will no doubt remember those black & white panoramic school photographs. Rows of acne-riddled school kids trying to stand still while the camera slowly scans them. Mine have been kept in cardboard mailing tubes for 40+ years so there are completely curled-up and the paper is brittle.

Can anyone recommend a company that can flatten/soften and scan them? The parts of the photograph that I can see are in very good condition so I might get it framed as well.

Cheers,

Jim

I would check Library of Congress and Conservators familiar with handling historic photos and documents.
