I've had this old reliable Epson 4800 for years, but just recently it quit feeding sheets properly (roll works fine).  Even when it grabs the sheet and feeds it the print head will make one pass then says "reload paper."

Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas.

Thanks,
Pat Gerlach

It may be that the paper isn't feeding straight. Make sure that the paper tray's two adjustable retaining clips are pushed up tight against the paper so that it is held snugly in place, so that the paper doesn't misfeed. This is what I have found to be the most common cause for this message.
