The attached pic shows a sheet of 17x25 paper on which I was trying to make an 16x24 image.  As you can see, only about half of the image's width printed.  The margin on the left is also too wide.  It should be 1/2 inch like the top.  I've had similar, but occasional problems printing on 17" wide canvas.  However, that has only occurred when I did not tape a strip of regular photo paper to the leading edge of the canvas and then trim the paper square with the sides of the canvas.

I also tried reducing the size of the image down to 14x21 and submitted the job again in an attempt to salvage the sheet of Hot Press Bright paper.  Still only about half of the image's width printed.  The job was sent from a Win7-64 computer to PSCC with print config: Media type Hot Press, user defined size 17x25, #5 quality, & Wider planten gap.

I did a Google search and found a few mentions of a similar problem, but most said that Epson support solved their problem without giving much information as to what Epson suggested.

The paper was cut from a roll with a Rotatrim and has been pressed in a box for about a month, but there is still some curl to the sheet.  I'm pretty sure the cut is at 90 degrees.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried scrubbing the 3880 drivers in the computer and re-downloading the 3880 drivers and downloads from the Epson site?

Thanks, Stan.

The PC is running those drivers now, but I'll delete the folder containing the driver and support files and then rerun the downloaded Epson driver file.

I just got off the phone with an Epson tech person. He suggested that I convert the .PSD file to a JPEG. I did and the JPEG also printed only about 1/3 of the image starting at the top of the image, but started printing about 2/3 the way down on the paper.

He was not able to fix the problem, but was able to blame Adobe. Said to call Adobe because it was not a problem with the printer.

I did notice something that did not seem right to me. It doesn't seem right that on the paper size pulldown on the PS Print menu that the paper size (17x25) should be followed by "-> Letter 8 1/2 x 11 inches".

To make the above comment easier to understand and maybe help someone diagnose my problem, I've uploaded a screen shot of the Print Settings and the User Defined Paper Size windows.   I've selected several of the default paper sizes from the Paper Size pulldown and they all have the phrase "-> Letter 8 1/2 x 11 inches" after the paper size I selected.  Maybe this in normal.  I don't know.  My other copy of CC is installed on a Mac and the Print Settings screen looks different from my PC.

Go back to "Properties" in CS print menu, click on "Page Layout", and select the user defined setting you have here too (17x25). That should do it. That will make the 8 1/2 x 11 go away.

Thanks, Mark.  I sorta stumbled onto the solution while talking again with an Epson tech a few min ago.  Under Page Layout, I set the Paper size to 17x25 and the Output paper size to "Same as Paper Size" and it printed properly.  When the tech finally got back on the phone I told him what fixed the problem, he seemed surprised and didn't understand.  I thanked him for his "help" and was very quickly hung up.

I don't know how the Output Paper size got set to 8 1/2 x 11".  Operator error, I'm sure.  Thanks again for your help.  Once again, help via NSN forums has proven to be much better than company help.

I would also be sure in page layout you check "center image" or something like that. I don't use Epson but my friend had a similar issue and needed to be sure this was checked to get the layout he needed.

Thanks, Ed. Good advice. Center was checked, in my case. The issue was under Page Layout. I had the paper size set at 15x25 but the Output Paper was set to 8 1/2 x 11. Don't know how it got changed, but the last paper size I printed on was 8 1/2 xll.
