Prints from my canon i9900 are showing a lighter band on the last inch of the print. I have run the cleaner, deep cleaner and alignment, no joy.
Any solutions you folks can offer would be gratefully appreciated.

thanks

Try the Canon ipf wiki, there is a lot of info there and they have a forum.

If the problem only shows on the final inch of printed area, it's not a head problem but sounds like some kind of paper feed issue. If so, it's mechanical and should be serviceable by Canon. I used to run an i9900 long ago and it developed some mechanical feed issues because of a spring-loaded piece of the mechanism losing the spring. A trip to Canon resolved it quickly, and it didn't cost much.

I completely agree with you. This is just a common issue. I also visited canon ipf wiki and they have all the solutions regarding this.
