Printing profiles

Can anyone recommend a good source for custom printing profiles. Thank you. Clark.

Do you mean you want custom profiles made for you or do you just want a source for profiles for your papers?

There were several profiling services that I used to recommend but it appears all of them have exited the business.

Doing a quick search on Google just now, I did find a couple of hits worth looking into. Chromix (color specialists and makers of the ColorThink software among other things) appear to have a custom profiling service called ColorValet. It relies on installing some software and is a bit more premium priced.

Also well known landscape photographer Michael E. Gordon has a custom profiling service. I know of Michael and his work, though I've not seen his profiles. He's got a lot of testimonials from folks who know their stuff. No special software required, and priced in line with the other profiling services I used to recommend. I'd say check him out for profiles...

I can definitely recommend Michael Gordon for custom profile work; I've used his services several times. I've been entirely satisfied with the final product as well as the speedy turnaround. He prices his service quite fairly, IMO, as well.
