I recently have decided that I might want to get a laminating machine, as I often use those self-laminate pouches for documents at work.  It would also come in handy for recipes that I keep in a binder.  Thing is, I always mess things up when I use those sticky self-laminate pouches.  I guess I'm not quite sure how they work, hence the reason for purchasing a machine.  I see they are not expensive.

Then I started to think...does laminating have any place in photography?  Does anybody laminate any of their prints?  I figure it would be best to know now so I knew whether or not I need one capable of laminating 8.5x11 papers at maximum, or 13x19 (which my Canon Pro9000 shoots out).

Thanks!
