This is another recycled photo with some Photoshop tweaks from a sea kayaking trip in Prince William Sound, Alaska. This was near Main Bay late in the evening. Canon Elan 7e, 28-135, Velvia. Thanks for looking and commenting!

Very beautiful shot, Kelly, with nice, warm colors in the sky. The mountain range looks just a bit cramped to me...maybe a bit more sky and a foreground crop where the diagonal of the landmass meets the lower left hand corner?
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Kelly, I agree with Mahesh on the crop. The bottom spit of land interrupts the flow of the rest of the image for me. The sky is fine as is for my money. Very nice shot.

I didn't see it till I read the others' comments, but I agree you could crop this from the bottom to the point where the land first "bends." It's nice as is but the crop makes it sing!

Kelly,

I like this very much! I think it works well as presented and am not sure I would prefer the suggested alternatives.

The color is beautiful and the patters of the rocks leading you into the photo are superb.

I like this a lot and love how the green shore leads you into the photo.

Nice use of diagonals to lead the eye through the image. I really like the subtle colours.

I really like this----have the immediate feeling of walking right into the scene. Might increase contrast very slightly to bring up the sheen on the water.
