Just a little violation of the HOM rule, but I don't think the buldings are too important in this shot. Is it acceptable?

Spectacular image. This looks like an amazing place to vist. FWIW when I click the link to the larger version I actually get a smaller version than what you have posted here.

Thanks, Laura! Hum...I see the larger version when I click. I wonder, when you click the link, the new window that pops up, is it smaller than your original window? If you have the "enable automatic image resizing" option under "Multimedia" in the Tools --> Internet options --> advance tab selected you may see a small image. Just a thought. I wonder if others are also seeing a small image when they click on the link.

HOM is allowed in the images here. "Images may include some elements of humankind that do not contribute significantly to the content." I think your images fits that requirement.

Beaufitul light and composition.

It's working for me now... Thanks! While I thought this was spectacular at the smaller size, it is truly magnificent when viewing the larger version.

that's a gorgeous shot of Snoqualmie falls! I went there for dinner once, on a business trip, and having been there I can't imagine doing one better than this!

Wonderful image. Why didn't you post it larger to begin with?

Very nice - the composition is just wonderful. I have a feeling I may have seen this before somewhere - dpreview maybe?

Very nice; great dramatic lighting on the falls vs. the background. Love the sharpness from the foreground flowers all the way to the house. Only issue is that it looks like it's tilted a bit based on the house.

Thanks, Rich! I think the "tilted" look is a bit of an optical illusion, because the lodge is on a hill. If you look at the roofs of the lodge, they do parallel a stright horizon.

Thanks, Jenny! When you live in such a beautiful area like the Pacific Northwest, you can't help but have nice subjects. It's almost like having an unfair advantage because things are just so photogenic here :-)

Thanks, Steve! Ya, I've eaten dinner there too...it was expensive and the food wasn't that great...but you couldn't beat the view! LOL!
