135 mm lens.
Tripod.
Kodachrome 25 or 64 (I'm to lazy to open the slide mount to check).

I was in Scotland one autumn and had unending rain for 3 days. There were unharvested cereal crops standing in water it was so wet. Just before sunset on the third day the rain stopped and the storm clouds started to clear causing the setting sun to shine through the breaks in the clouds. I shot a variety of compositions using lenses from 24 mm to a 300 mm.

I like the different layering of the mountains with the rays of light coming through. I might crop out a bit of the water.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

The light and layering work very well, the photo is great. I agree that some of the foreground water could be cropped and would strengthen the image since just enough to show water would suffice .\

Wow! Very dramatic lighting. Fantastic. I agree with cropping the water a bit. Ideally I'd like to see more sky instead...

The sky and layers of mountains are beautiful! I'm torn about the idea of cropping some of the water, and mostly I agree that it would strengthen the image, but I also like the little bit of pinkish reflection at the bottom.

Love the mountains and the moody sky, but IMHO all that water doesn't help the image at all. I'd vote for either more sky if it's nice, or crop toa panoramic.

I really like the layered look and how the laers glow. By cropping this from the bottom and a little from the top the glow is emphasized even more.

Good light, layers, mountains and clouds. A little too much water.
