Nice first one. I agree later light would improve. It appears to me to be less saturated near the centre of the image. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me can comment.

Welcome, G. Mid-day shots are aways difficult as the colors tend to get washed out. Nice first post, however. Post more! :-)
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Welcome aboard. I think shooting this during better light and sharpening it somewhat would take this to the next level.
