I particularly hoped to get a good shot of the Wild Goose Island overlook last month at Glacier, even though it's an oft-photographed scene, since I consider it one of North America's most beautiful locations. The fires at Glacier made conditions difficult at times, but I was lucky to find good light and color one morning. The following morning, my last in Glacier, the entire scene was overcome by smoke and unphotographable for all practical purposes.

It's an oftern photographed spot but the photo is so beautiful, it doesn't matter.

I'm amazed you've gotten so much color from Velvia 100F. Here at sea level, I see more color with my eyes than the film captures.

Is Badger Graphics boing to order Velvia 100?

Danny, this is quite beautiful. How did you ever get all this color? It is sooo rich; of course, I think it's divine, so what did you do, pray a lot?

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

This image is as impressive here as it was the first time I saw it. :D .

Great shot, Danny.

I like this a lot. The colors are great as is the scene. i think the bottom looks just a tiny bit truncated due to the area where the tree tops drop below the bottom of the frame.

Despite their destructive capabilites, the smoke from the fires sometimes creates some great colours, as it seems to have done here. Great panoramic shot (I'm a sucker for the format).

Wonderfully done. Great colors - and while the smoke may have may one day unshootable, it looks like it helped you out here. Like E.J., I would like just a tad more room at the bottom.
