I don't know...for some reason, this shot just gives me the creeps. Looks like a soldier of the dark kneeling before his evil ruler.

Another shot from the land of jaundice :-)

Wow. I completely agree with your assessment of this shot. Having just finished watching Lord of the Rings, I thought I was seeing a character straight from the land of Mordor. Very interesting!

I like this a lot! The orange bands are terrific, and the dark wood is interesting. My only nit is that I'd like to see a bit more detail in the darkest part of the latter.

This doesn't give me the creeps at all. I enjoy looking at it. You have a great eye, Mahesh.

How long have you been doing photography?

Mahesh,

I agree with you it gives a creepy feeling also. Other than that it is a wonderful composition that just makes the imagination run wild. Well done.

Thanks, Dan. I picked up a small digicam about 4 yrs ago and I was hooked on photography. A little over a year ago I went the digital SLR route.

Mahesh, I agree that this one is creepy and surreal. I do like it though, and am really enjoying your unique, creative style.
