A little noisy in the darker areas, but very nice colors.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

The graininess of VS is really highlighted by this type of shot but otherwise it is very dramatic. An very nice shot.

Spectacular colour for sure. Still, I think it needs a little something else to sustain my interest once I've gotten over the colour.

Ken, the red colors are dramatic but the graininess of the scan is a bit of a detraction in the darker areas. Would that be from the scan or possibly a levels adjustment more than one time?

You've certainly got an amazing sunset there. The piece with the sun peeking through really makes this. I wish there was more going in in the foreground to ground it but I'm sure you had to make do with what you had.

A beautiful shot from Chincoteague! Hopefully the grain is not so evident on the slide.

Unfortunately, the grain in the dark areas is all too evident on the slide. The scan (HP Photosmart) only makes it worse. There were no levels adjustments only a little USM.

I have switched to Provia 100F until I can purchase a 10D.

Thanks for all the comments.
