It's so dry this time of year in northern CA, there isn't much to shoot except seascapes and fog.

Nice shot Dan.
I like how the clouds just trail off.....very nice. And the fog in the trees complete this picture.

You're the master of the sunset low clouds/fog, Dan :-) Another stunning grab!
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

I love the upper half of this Dan, almost feels like one could fly through and over the scene. Very nice!!

Dan, is this from our shoot last week? Looks great, whenever you took it.

A beauty Dan - would have known it was yours! I really like the deep, rich colours and the repeating layers of trees. I perhaps wish the taller trees on the left weren't there, but I'm not sure how much flexibility you had in your shooting position.

cheers,
Eric

Oh, this just knocks me out. I love all the layers, the colors and the composition. This is also an inspiration!

No. This was a sunrise shoot about a week later.

My jaw is starting to hurt from dropping every time I open another image in this gallery!

This is really lovely, I like the three layers with two intersecting at a diagonal.

As you already know ...I like this one very much.
It seems that you're back with Velvia for your coastal scenes (sunrises/sets) .
The colors are stunning.

Salut
